Maternity sessions for Twin Cities families in studio or outdoors
A quiet season of waiting
Pregnancy carries a quiet kind of anticipation — a mix of excitement, reflection, and deep love already growing.
Maternity sessions are relaxed and gently guided, giving you space to slow down and honor this fleeting season.
Sessions take place in my historic Delano studio, outdoors in soft natural light, or in the comfort of your home.
I serve families across the Twin Cities and west metro.
What to expect
There’s no pressure to perform — just simple guidance so you can feel comfortable and connected.
We’ll focus on natural movement, quiet moments, and the subtle beauty of this time, whether you come on your own, with your partner, or with children.
Many families choose to document maternity as part of their baby’s story, creating a gentle beginning before newborn portraits.

FAQ
What if I’m nervous about being photographed?
You’re in good company and many people feel this way. You don’t need to prepare or perform. Simply come as you are, and I’ll guide you gently so you can settle in. When you relax and stay present, beautiful moments naturally unfold — and I’ll be there to preserve them.
What should we wear?
Simple, comfortable pieces photograph beautifully. Think soft textures, neutrals, and clothing that allows you to move with ease. You’re welcome to wear something you love, and I’m always happy to offer guidance if you’d like help deciding.
Can my partner and/or children be included?
Partners and children are always welcome. These sessions are about your growing family and we’ll move at a relaxed pace so everyone feels comfortable.
How far in advance should I book?
Many families reserve during the second trimester to ensure availability, especially if planning to bundle with newborn sessions.
How long is the session?
Sessions are relaxed and typically last about an hour, allowing plenty of time to settle in without feeling rushed.
What happens after the session?
You’ll receive a thoughtfully edited gallery where you can download your images and select favorites for printing if you wish.
What if I don't feel "put together" during pregnancy?
Pregnancy is a season of change, and you don’t need to feel perfect to be photographed. My approach is gentle and honest, focusing on connection, softness, and the beauty that already exists.
